The starting point is naturally the client brief. We pride ourselves on being able to interpret our clients’ needs whether they give us a one percent briefing or provide us every element with specific instructions as to what is required.
Listening to our clients, understanding their businesses, getting to know their audience and researching the market and their competitors, are all important parts of the creative process.
At Spike, we don’t believe there is such a thing as a bad idea. Only wrong choices. We work with our clients in developing a creative strategy, but remain flexible, as we’ve found our ideas brainstorming sessions sometimes lead to great concepts that change the creative direction of a project.
Client feedback becomes essential at this point of the process, as we are not precious about our design work and firmly believe that great results come from working together. We also fully understand that while it is our responsibility to guide the creative direction and offer our opinions, we need to satisfy the client first and foremost.
Spike’s involvement in our clients’ projects goes way beyond the graphic design component, as we like to be involved with and have the associations to provide and/or liaise with copywriters, photographers, printers and any other suppliers that may be required in any given assignment. Managing the entire process is something we are very comfortable with and ensures that the final product has the desired outcome.
